NativeWay (Bangladesh) Limited is the Dhaka subsidiary of NativeWay (Pvt) Ltd., a third-generation Sri Lankan engineering firm founded in 1942. We deliver MEP, HVAC, dehumidification, fire safety and diesel power systems for Bangladesh's RMG, pharmaceutical, food-processing, hospital and data-centre sectors — combining local commissioning teams in Dhaka with the engineering depth of an 80-year-old parent firm.

Why Bangladesh is its own engineering brief

RMG factory floors need humidity, not just cooling — Bangladesh's $45B+ ready-made garment sector runs sewing floors where 55–65% relative humidity is the production-quality variable. Comfort-AC designs miss this entirely. We design for dew-point control with industrial dehumidifiers (FRAL and equivalent) sized to actual machinery and operator load, not square-metre rules of thumb.

BNBC fire-code compliance, not just NFPA — The Bangladesh National Building Code is the binding code for fire-safety design in Dhaka and Chattogram. It overlaps with NFPA but has local provisions around stair pressurisation, smoke control and Accord/Alliance buyer audit requirements. We design to BNBC and to your buyer's audit standard (Accord, Nirapon, RSC), not just to a generic spec.

Grid reality drives generator sizing — DPDC and DESCO power supply across Dhaka still suffers from voltage sag, frequency dip and occasional cuts. Factory and hospital gensets in Bangladesh are sized for prime power with high duty cycles — not occasional standby. We size against your annual load profile, not the standby-rated nameplate.

Pharmaceutical and food-processing precision — Bangladesh's pharma and food sectors are growing fast and increasingly export-oriented. Pharma needs cleanroom HVAC (Class C / D, ISO 14644), food needs hygienic-design cooling and HACCP-aligned dehumidification. We design and commission to international export-grade standards from the brief stage.

Monsoon and salinity matter for coastal sites — Coastal industrial parks (Chattogram, Mongla) bring sea-air corrosion that demands marine-grade alternators, IP-rated enclosures and stainless components in fire systems. We default to coastal-spec materials when the site is within 25 km of sea.

How we deliver in Bangladesh

Local Dhaka team, regional engineering depth — Site survey, project management, commissioning and AMC service are delivered by our Dhaka-based engineering team. Design oversight, sizing calculations and tender support flow from Colombo where our 50+ engineer team covers MEP across all five disciplines.

Sole Teksan distributor for the region — Generators from 10 kVA to 3 MW with Cummins, Perkins, Baudouin and Mitsubishi engines. Same distributorship that supplies Sri Lankan banking and hospital infrastructure now serves Bangladesh under the same warranty and AMC framework.

FRAL industrial dehumidifiers for RMG and warehousing — Authorised dealer for FRAL (Italy). Cold-store, factory-floor and warehouse dehumidification specified by industrial application, not by tonnage guesswork.

Documentation built for buyer audits — Accord, Nirapon, RSC, Higg Index, BSCI — every RMG audit asks for the MEP documentation, the fire-pump test records, the genset maintenance log. We document to audit-ready standard from commissioning. No scramble before an inspection.

Cross-border procurement when it pays — For high-value equipment (generators, chillers, fire-pump skids), we coordinate procurement through our Sri Lankan trading entity when import duties and lead times favour it, and direct-import to BD when those favour the other way. Engineering remains independent of the import route.

Hydrant systems, sprinklers, fire-pump skids to NFPA 20, smoke detection and alarm, addressable panels — designed to BNBC and to RMG-buyer audit requirements (Accord / Nirapon / RSC).

Industrial laundry

DOMUS commercial laundry equipment — washers, dryers, ironers — for hospitals, hotels and RMG industrial laundries. Authorised partnership.

MEP design & tender support

Single-line drawings, load schedules, BNBC fire reports, tender BoQs, equipment specifications — delivered from Colombo engineering office with Dhaka-team coordination.
