Cummins engines
American-built, ubiquitous in Sri Lankan industry. Cummins-powered Teksan and Nativemax generators are the most widely-serviced engines on the island — parts always available, factory-trained technicians in every district.
From 10 kVA standby for a clinic to a 3 MW prime-power plant for an industrial campus — NativeWay supplies, installs, commissions and services Teksan, Force MTU and our own Nativemax diesel generators across Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bangladesh. Powered by Cummins and Baudouin engines — the same engineering used in the world's mission-critical power systems.
No single manufacturer is right for every project. We hold sole and exclusive distributorship for two world-class international brands — and we build our own — so we can specify the right generator for your load profile, fuel envelope, footprint and budget. Without compromise.

A complete diesel and bi-fuel lineup engineered in Istanbul, with the depth, configurability and parts availability needed for everything from a single-clinic standby to a multi-MW prime-power plant.

The MTU Series 1600 platform manufactured under joint venture in Pune — bringing the German engineering DNA of Rolls-Royce Power Systems into the 500–1010 kVA sweet spot at a competitive Indian-manufactured price point.
NativeWay's in-house diesel generator range — engineered for Sri Lankan tropical conditions, packaged on the same internationally-trusted engines used by the world's premium genset brands, at materially better value than imported equivalents.
All three brands are fully supported with island-wide after-sales, factory-trained engineers, genuine parts and structured AMCs. The choice usually comes down to capacity, brand recognition, budget and lead-time — and we are happy to walk you through it.

A generator is a 20-year asset. The brand on the bonnet matters; the engineer who shows up at 3 a.m. when the load won't transfer matters more. Whichever brand you choose, you get the same NativeWay after-sales platform.
Sizing, specification, factory-acceptance, site delivery, installation, load-bank testing and commissioning — turnkey, single-vendor.
Island-wide field-service network across Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Average response inside the hour for AMC clients.
Structured service agreements — quarterly inspections, scheduled servicing, oil & filter changes, load-bank testing, compliance reports.
Authorised parts inventory in-country for all three brands — no grey-market substitutes, no warranty risk, no waiting for sea freight on common items.
Top-end and major engine overhauls — done in your plant room or at our Colombo workshop, supervised by factory-trained technicians.
Multi-set parallel and synchronised installations, mains-failure ATS panels, controllers, paralleling switchgear — designed and built in-house.
On-site operator training, runbooks, log-sheet templates, fault-tree handouts — handed over with every commissioning.
Generator-room cladding, exhaust insulation, sound-attenuation upgrades, repaint and re-skin — extending the life of older fleets.
Send us the connected load, sequence of operations and continuity expectations — we'll come back with a sized proposal across all three brands, side-by-side, so you can choose with full information.
Every Teksan, Force MTU and Nativemax genset we sell in Sri Lanka is built around two engine brands trusted on mission-critical loads worldwide — paired with premium alternators selected for tropical conditions.
American-built, ubiquitous in Sri Lankan industry. Cummins-powered Teksan and Nativemax generators are the most widely-serviced engines on the island — parts always available, factory-trained technicians in every district.
French marine-grade engines, increasingly specified for resort and high-humidity Sri Lankan installs. Baudouin-powered Teksan and Nativemax generators offer excellent value across the 100 kVA – 1 MW range — strong on coastal sites.

Buying a generator is a 15-year decision. Here's what we offer that other Sri Lankan generator suppliers don't.
No grey-market imports, no parallel imports — direct factory pipeline from Teksan Türkiye. Full warranty, OEM parts, factory-trained Sri Lankan engineers.
The highest contractor grade Sri Lanka issues for mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering. Many generator suppliers in Sri Lanka don't hold this — it's required for most government and large private tenders.
Independently audited quality management. Process discipline applied to design, install and service — not a marketing claim, an annual audit.
Three generations of Sri Lankan engineering — most of our competitors are 5-15 years old. Longevity matters when your generator AMC contract spans 15 years.
Across hotels, hospitals, factories, data centres and government installations in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bangladesh. Real installs in real conditions — not a portfolio of stock photos.
Service centres at Colombo (Sapugaskanda) and Matara, plus a branch at Anuradhapura. The same NativeWay engineer who installs your generator is the one who responds at 2 am when something needs attention. No subcontractor handover.
Operations in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bangladesh. The only Sri Lankan generator supplier with cross-border service capability for resort groups and regional manufacturers.

There's no single answer — the right brand depends on your load profile, duty cycle, budget and serviceability priorities. NativeWay carries Teksan (Türkiye, sole distributor in Sri Lanka), Force MTU (Indian Force Motors / Rolls-Royce JV, exclusive distributor) and our own Nativemax house brand. The engines inside our gensets are Cummins or Baudouin. For most commercial buyers we recommend Cummins-powered Teksan or Nativemax in the 50-500 kVA range — best balance of upfront cost, fuel efficiency and parts availability across Sri Lanka.
Indicative pricing for brand-new Sri Lanka stock: 20 kVA from LKR 1.2M, 60 kVA from LKR 2.6M, 100 kVA from LKR 3.8M, 200 kVA from LKR 6.5M. Prices vary based on engine choice (Cummins or Baudouin), canopy type, fuel tank capacity and ATS. We provide formal quotes within 24 hours — call +94 77 777 7156 with your kVA requirement.
Rough rule for Sri Lankan tropical conditions (with derating already applied): a small clinic or shop = 10-20 kVA, a 30-key hotel = 60-100 kVA, a 100-key hotel = 250-400 kVA, a mid-size factory = 500-1,000 kVA, an industrial campus or large hospital = 1,500-3,000 kVA. Final sizing requires a load schedule with motor starting currents, lift loads and HVAC peaks. Our power engineers do this as part of every commercial quote.
Cummins: American-built, the most widely-serviced engine in Sri Lanka with the best parts availability — recommended default for most commercial standby and prime applications in the 50–500 kVA range. Baudouin: French marine-grade, excels in coastal high-humidity locations like resorts, ports and logistics yards, and a strong performer across the 100 kVA – 1 MW range. Both are available across our Teksan and Nativemax ranges; our power engineers spec the right one for your site conditions and duty cycle.
Yes — annual maintenance contracts (AMC) are NativeWay's biggest after-sales offering. AMC includes scheduled servicing, oil and filter changes, load testing, battery checks, 24/7 emergency callouts and OEM parts at AMC pricing. Typical AMC for a 100 kVA hotel genset is LKR 180,000 – 250,000 per year. Service centres at Sapugaskanda and Matara, mobile teams covering all districts. Read more about generator AMC →
For stock units (20-200 kVA Teksan and Nativemax): same-day quote, 2-5 working days for delivery and install in Western Province, up to 2 weeks for outstation. For made-to-order generators (above 200 kVA, custom canopy, special voltage): 8-14 weeks from order confirmation to commissioning, depending on engine availability at the factory. For brand-new Teksan generators sold by NativeWay: 24 months or 1,000 hours warranty (whichever is sooner) on the complete genset, plus extended engine warranty per Cummins or Baudouin factory schedule. Nativemax house-brand generators carry 12 months full warranty. Crucially, we honour warranty claims directly — no shipping back to a dealer abroad, no waiting weeks for parts. Beware suppliers who quote "manufacturer warranty only" — that often means YOU manage the claim.
Three reasons: (1) CIDA EM-1 grade — the highest contractor grade in Sri Lanka, eligible for all government and large private tenders; many of our competitors aren't EM-1. (2) Sole distributorship for Teksan — the only legitimate channel into Sri Lanka, with factory parts and warranty pipeline. (3) Heritage and longevity — incorporated 1986, founded 1942, three generations of family engineering. When your generator AMC spans 15+ years, the supplier needs to still be around. We are.
