Fuel tank fabrication in the Maldives — built in our Malé workshop, installed on your island.

Steel fuel tanks — generator base tanks, day tanks and bulk storage — plus GRP/FRP sectional panel and GFS bolted-steel water tanks for resorts and island properties. Designed to your capacity, fabricated in our own Malé workshop, leak-tested, shipped in sections sized for landing craft and assembled on site by our own crew.

How we work

Four steps from drawing to handover.

1

Requirement & sizing

Capacity from your runtime or water demand — site visit or drawings, your choice.

2

Design & quote

Fabrication drawings, material spec, fittings schedule, firm price.

3

Fabricate & test

Built in our workshop, leak-tested, finished — sections sized for island logistics where needed.

4

Install & commission

Positioned, piped, gauged and handed over by the same crew that built it.

Frequently asked

The questions every buyer asks.

What sizes of fuel tank can you fabricate?

From generator base (belly) tanks and day tanks of a few hundred litres up to bulk storage in the tens of thousands of litres — with baffles, level gauges, vents and bund arrangements as the site requires.

GRP/FRP panel tanks vs GFS tanks — which should I choose?

GRP/FRP sectional panels are light, corrosion-free and assemble in tight rooftop spaces. GFS (glass-fused-to-steel) bolted tanks suit larger ground-mounted capacities with long service life. Capacity, location and water use decide it.

Do you install on Maldives island sites?

Yes — fabrication is completed in our workshop, shipped in sections sized for boat or seaplane logistics, and assembled and tested on-island by our own crew.

Water storage for island sites — GRP sectional and glass-fused-to-steel.

Two constructions cover almost every Maldives requirement. GRP/FRP sectional panels bolt up inside plant rooms and on rooftops where access is tight. Glass-fused-to-steel bolted tanks take the larger ground-mounted duties — potable storage, RO product water, stormwater and fire reserve.

Glass-fused-to-steel bolted tanks — ground-mounted potable storage, assembled panel by panel on site.
GRP sectional water tank on a roof with connected pipework and valves
GRP/FRP sectional tank on a roof slab — panels carried up and bolted in place, then piped and commissioned.
Sectional GRP water tank panels being bolted and fitted with outlet connections
Sectional construction is what makes island delivery possible — nothing arrives as one finished vessel.

Tanks for island sites — the constraints nobody mentions in the quote.

A tank that is straightforward on a mainland site becomes a logistics problem in the Maldives. A finished 20,000-litre vessel will not go on a landing craft, will not come through a resort service jetty, and will not turn a corner between villas. We design around that from the first drawing.

Sectioned for the boat

Tanks fabricated as panels or sections sized for landing craft, supply vessel and jetty access, then bolted or welded up on site — not shipped whole and left on the beach.

Specified for salt air

Coatings, galvanising and stainless fittings chosen for marine exposure. GRP/FRP and glass-fused-to-steel where corrosion would eat plain steel in a few seasons.

Tested before it ships

Every tank leak-tested in the workshop, because discovering a weld fault on an outer island means another vessel, another week and another mobilisation.

One crew, start to finish

The team that fabricates it installs it, pipes it, fits gauges and hands it over. No handover gap between a fabricator and an installer who have never met.

We also build what the tank feeds

Most tank suppliers in the Maldives deliver a vessel and leave. We install the systems on both ends of it — the generator the day tank feeds, the transfer pumps and pipework, the RO and desalination plant room, the plumbing the water tank serves. One contractor, one responsibility when something does not run.

Fuel & water tanks in the Maldives — common questions.

Do you fabricate in the Maldives, or ship tanks in?

We fabricate in our own Malé workshop. That keeps lead times short, lets us modify to suit what is actually on site, and avoids the customs and freight delays that come with importing a finished vessel.

Can you deliver and install on an outer island?

Yes. Tanks are built in sections sized for landing craft or supply vessel, shipped with the fittings and assembled, tested and commissioned on site by our own crew.

Fuel tanks or water tanks — do you do both?

Both. Steel fuel tanks (generator base, day and bulk storage, bunded where required) and water storage in GRP/FRP sectional panels or glass-fused-to-steel for larger ground-mounted capacities.

Can you replace a corroded tank on a live resort?

Yes, and most of our work is on operating properties. We phase the changeover with temporary storage or staged cutover so fuel and water supply are not interrupted.

What capacity should I order?

For fuel, it follows generator runtime and resupply interval — how long you must run between deliveries, plus reserve. For water, it follows occupancy, RO plant output and buffer. Send us the numbers, or the drawings, and we will size it.
